My mother would be so jealous of the shot and that you were at the show! She has shelves of orchids and since all us kids left they have become her babies. Very nice and crisp shot.

The funny thing is that she lives in the frozen north of Canada and grows them all inside!

She's a special person no matter what but I'm rather biased there! She's kept them alive for years and her favorite thing to do is wait until the store has given up on them and they look dead and then bring them home and save them. It's amazing. Unfortunately I didn't inherit that trait but I can grow a mean vegetable garden outside!
